Objectives

 Knowledge of:
-Introduction: vascular access, materials, positioning, X-ray equipment, patient preparation Access, interventional techniques and materials science
-Interventions on the renal arteries: indications, studies
-Interventions on the AMS and trunk: indications, studies
-Aneurysms of the visceral arteries: indications, studies, procedure
-Coiling of visceral vessels: renal arteries, aneurysms, lumbar arteries, emergencies
-Special indications: hybrid procedures on the visceral arteries, insight into special aortic prostheses
-Case discussions

 

 Simulator- and/or model-assisted technical implementation of:
-endovascular procedures on the visceral vessels (PTA, stenting, coiling)
