Objectives
Knowledge of:
- Introduction: Vascular access, equipment, positioning, X-ray equipment, patient preparation; access routes, interventional techniques and materials science
- Interventions on the renal arteries: indications, studies
- Interventions on the AMS and the truncus: indications, studies
- Aneurysms of the visceral arteries: indications, studies, procedures
- Coiling of visceral vessels: renal arteries, aneurysms, lumbar arteries, emergencies
- Special indications: hybrid procedures on the visceral arteries, overview of specific aortic prostheses
- Case discussions
Simulator- and/or model-assisted technical performance of:
- endovascular procedures on visceral vessels (PTA, stenting, coiling)
