Advanced Course in Endovascular Techniques – Femoral Vessels

 Objectives:
-Indication of interventions depending on patency rates
-Antegrade, crossover, retrograde, popliteal/crural access
-Indications for PTA, uncovered BMS/DEB/DES, covered stents
-Recanalisation techniques/materials
-Procedure for recurrent stenosis/occlusion
-Procedure for calcified lesions, dissection
-Knowledge of the use of mechanical thrombectomy/atherectomy systems
-Use of lysis/aspiration systems/lithotripsy
-Indications for intervention on the profunda femoris artery

 

 Technical performance of the following procedures with the aid of a simulator and/or model:
-Interventions in the thigh region, e.g. PTA/stenting (DEB)
