Advanced Course in Endovascular Techniques – Pelvic Vessels

Wednesday, 24 June 2026,
10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Scientific director: Marcel Hofmann (Amerang)
Speakers: Kyriakos Oikonomou (Frankfurt), Heiko Wendorff (Ebersberg)

Objectives:

 Knowledge of:
-Indications for PTA/stenting of the pelvic region, material selection
-Use of large-bore uncovered/covered stents for lesions of the aorta
-Retrograde access to the pelvis, simultaneous bilateral, cross-over/transbrachial access with/without long
sheath
-Treatment of lesions of the internal iliac artery
-Recanalisation techniques for CTOs (retrograde, wire loop manoeuvre/pull-through manoeuvre,
hybrid procedure)

Technical implementation assisted by simulator and/or model of:
-PTA/stenting of pelvic lesions, retrograde and cross-over
