Led by: Prof. Dittmar Böckler (Heidelberg), Prof. Farzin Adili (Darmstadt)
This interactive workshop is aimed at vascular surgeons who hold management positions or aspire to a senior position at a German hospital. It will help you to sharpen your professional goals, reflect on your own positioning and prepare yourself optimally for the application process outside of your everyday clinical work. In addition, the course highlights the additional skills that are essential for medical managers after taking on a senior physician or chief physician position. In addition to the professional expertise that is naturally required, management skills and strong communication and social leadership skills are becoming increasingly important. The workshop provides a sound orientation, in-depth insights and concrete ideas for your personal development with the aim of strengthening you on your path to becoming a manager.
